Sherlock glam rock (GLAMLOCK!) AU. Band name: Sussex Vampires.

Uhm okay so this sort of came to be after a chat between me and Lauren (taco) last night. And it took over my brain, like things tend to do.

Sherlock Holmes and “Johnny Lazers” (John Watson clearly isn’t glam enough) are the two only permanent band members. Nobody else can really stand to work with Sherlock under a longer period of time, so they simply hire the musicians needed whenever they tour (they don’t need any studio musicians when recording their albums, since Sherlock is a multi instrumentalist and virtuos).

Mycroft is their manager, and Lestrade the tour manager (legwork).

Though Sherlock is the front man, Johnny tends to do most of their interviews. It’s safer that way. Sherlock is in general nice to the fans, as long as they compliment his genius. Any critique and there’s a risk things will get nasty.

Their three albums so far are “A Study In Pink”, “The Blind Banker” and “The Great Game”.
