Oh god it’s finally done! Took much longer than planned, but I’m very very happy with the result. It was frustrating to have to figure out how to make it look as tattoo-y as possible, because I might be an illustrator but I’m definitely not a tattoo artist.

It’s an excercice I really can recommend to you other illustrators and artists: limit yourself. choose a style and stick to it. Earlier I’ve done similar things where I’ve been trying to stick to an Art Deco style, and I had to stop myself from adding too much detail or too much shadows.

I added it to redbubble though I usually use cafepress for these sort of things, but it’s because I wanna buy a bunch of stickers myself! I hope the spray splashes will print all right on shirts though. I can’t guarantee anything. Does anyone have any experience with redbubble’s print quality? It’s a bit annoying that they desaturate the print like that, but I suppose there’s not much one can do about it.
