“How did you- have you handcuffed me?”

I love how this kind of ended up living its own little life. And seriously, look at that amount of notes. I love you guys <3

Captains of the Innuendo Squad (2010)

I’ve always had the feeling that River Song is a lot like Jack and John. Not entirely bad, but far from all good. She could very well have been a time agent.

I’ve never really worked with this kind of art, so I had no idea if I was doing alright or if it was way off. A lot of trial and error. It was a LOT of fun though.

River’s outfit is all improvised, while Jack’s is inspired by uniforms from the US civil war. John’s outfit is basically a steampunkified version of the one he’s got in Torchwood.

The lineart is done!

Would love some suggestions when it comes to the background, they’re really not my forte. The plan is that they should be surrounded by a time energy cluster/cloud thing, but there still needs to be something more, something that is half seen behind the time energy. Pretty much like the scene where John first appears in Torchwood.

Dear lord, comic book style is lots of fun but it’s really difficult doing something in a style you’ve never used before. Challenges ftw!

things are coming along nicely.

I’m thinking it’s maybe about time I do something with this sketch. Thoughts?

Made in Illustrator, first intended it to be used for an iPhone skin, but figured out it would look cool as a wallpaper as well.
